Join the Archaeology and Heritage Circle for a fascinating panel discussion on Women in Heritage: The power of representation in storytelling.
Our panelists will explore the role that women’s histories and creative endeavours can have on modern perspectives. Come learn more about how today scholars are working on revealing hidden histories. Our speakers touch upon their experiences as women in their respective fields, the work that they do, as well as the women who inspired them.
Our panel includes Dr. Sara Perry, Associate Professor in Digital Public Archaeology at UCL, Lisa Randisi, Public Archaeologist, Museum Curator and Historic Dancer (currently at the Petrie Museum) and Grace Filmer, Classical Music Publicist and Critical Theorist.
Opening remarks: Megan Kumorek, Egyptologist, Archaeologist and Donor Relations at UCL
Moderator: Yinsey Wang, a city lawyer and a co-founder of Muses in the City
Closing remarks: Miriam Fearon, ERG and Technologist at a global firm
