The National Liberal Club European Forum is pleased to convene its seventh annual lecture. After a welcome from Baroness Brinton and an introduction by the Chair, the Polish Ambassador, Piotr Wilczek will address the priorities of the Polish Presidency of the European Union (EU), including defence and security (in particular Russia’s ongoing threat, the need to increase defence spending and strengthening defence cooperation with NATO), the protection of people and EU borders, resisting foreign interference and disinformation, intra-EU competitiveness and strengthening EU energy security.
