Italian piano virtuosos join forces to present a keyboard extravaganza of operatic highlights from their native Italy.

We are delighted to welcome Catherine Taylor, Winner of the 2024 TLS Ackerley Prize, to the Authors' Club to talk about her superb memoir, The Stirrings. 

Join us to celebrate Gladstone’s support for Bulgaria and how it shaped the future of the Balkans region. A partnership event between the National Liberal Club and the Bulgarian Embassy, this evening will be a commemoration to honour his work for Bulgarian independence and a cultural exchange to celebrate the Bulgarian nation. The dinner is now sold out but places are still available for the Reception and Talk at 7.00pm until 8.00pm.

Visit to Dulwich Picture Gallery to see their New Exhibition of Japanese Prints by the Yoshida Family - The first of its kind in the UK. This exhibition shines a spotlight on three generations of woodblock print artists including Yoshida Hiroshi, Fujio, T?shi, Hodaka Chizuko and Ayomi, tracing the evolution of Japanese printmaking across two centuries.

As part of Black History Month join us for a screening of the Oscar winning film Selma about Martin Luther King Jnr. and his epic civil rights struggle.

The Orpington Circle plans to meet regularly for a series of ‘Conversations’ around key current challenges with talks given by a Lib Dem MP or Peer which will be followed by a Q&A and general discussion. This month's Guest Speaker will be Richard Foord, MP for Honiton and Sidmouth and Liberal Democrat spokesperson on Defence speaking on "Defence of the Realm and Security"
