Bastille Day, or La Fête Nationale, is one of France’s most significant holidays, commemorating the storming of the Bastille on 14th July 1789 - a pivotal moment in the French Revolution. This historic day symbolises the enduring values of liberty, equality, and fraternity, which resonate far beyond France.
The National Liberal Club, as a welcoming home for Europeans and people from all walks of life, is proud to provide an opportunity for Members, their guests, and the wider community to come together and celebrate France, its people, and its rich cultural heritage.
What to expect:
• A 3-course gourmet dinner paired with fine French wines
• A live performance by a singer, adding an authentic touch to the evening
• A thought-provoking talk on the importance of Bastille Day and its role in shaping modern France
• A sophisticated Black Tie experience in the elegant setting of the NLC
