When Pinglestone Estate was established in 2017, Champagne Pommery became the first Champagne House to plant vines in England. On this visit, you’ll explore 40 hectares of enchanting vineyards, set on a 360° compass overlooking the South Downs National Park in New Alresford, and enjoy a guided tasting of Louis Pommery’s portfolio of award-winning wines.
Date: Wednesday 15th July 2026 11:45 am - Welcome coffee and introduction 12:30pm - Walk up to Vineyards for tour and discussion of the sustainability project on the estate plus tasting of Louis Pommery England 1:30 pm - Lunch in the ancient barn on estate with further discussion of the wines. 3:30 pm - Members and guests depart Travel Arrangements: Winchester Station is the nearest station to Pinglestone Estate.
Members will be responsible for making their own travel arrangements to and from Waterloo Station to Winchester train station. For those traveling by train, we have pre - arranged transport from Winchester Station to the Pinglestone estate at 11:15am which is included in your ticket price. For those driving and meeting us directly, please arrive at Pinglestone Farm by 11:30am.
