A round table discussion exploring the impact of artificial intelligence on art, culture and the creative economy. Bringing together contrasting perspectives, the conversation will examine how AI is reshaping artistic practice, authorship and cultural value, while actively engaging the audience in an open exchange of ideas — a core principle of Renaissance-21.
As AI technologies continue to evolve, they raise fundamental questions about creativity, originality and the role of the artist. Is AI a tool that expands artistic possibilities, or does it challenge the very notion of human authorship? How does it affect the economic structures that support artists and cultural institutions? And what happens to cultural value in a world where content can be generated at scale?
This discussion invites both speakers and audience to reflect on these questions together, encouraging multiple viewpoints and critical dialogue. By bringing together artistic, curatorial and technological perspectives, the panel aims to explore not only the risks, but also the opportunities that AI presents for the future of culture.
