The Wednesday Luncheon Circle meets on the first Wednesday of each month, to enjoy a convivial lunch followed by a speaker.
Our March Wednesday Luncheon Circle welcomes Mahnaz Malik as our guest speaker to mark International Women's Week: "My adventures on the Silk Road: (Not quite) in my grandfather's tracks". Mahnaz will speak about her grandfather's journey on the Silk Road and how his experience resonates with her and the differences over gender and time. Mahnaz is a barrister, international arbitrator and author. After graduating from Cambridge University she was awarded "Trainee Solicitor Most Likely to Succeed on the International Stage." She is the youngest woman ever appointed to an ICSID Annulment Committee since records began in 1965. Tickets: £39 to include a 2 course meal & talk 12.30pm meet in the Bar followed by lunch at 1.00pm
