A Golden Milestone: 50 Years of Women at the National Liberal Club Join us for a special evening at the National Liberal Club as we mark a truly historic moment: 50 years since women first became members of the NLC, with guest speaker: Baroness Brenda Hale, the first women president of the Supreme Court.
To celebrate this golden anniversary, the Club will host an elegant yet spirited evening reflecting on five decades of progress, contribution, and community. Our talented women's kitchen team will present a three-course 1970s-themed menu complete with wine and a cocktail, paying homage to the decade in which women entered the Club; Bringing with it a sense of nostalgia, bold flavours, and a touch of retro glamour. Expect a warm, vibrant atmosphere that captures the spirit of the era.
This celebration is more than a look back. It is an opportunity to honour the strength, resilience and influence of the women who have shaped and enriched the NLC over the past half century, and to recognise the enduring role they continue to play in the life of the Club today.
